Caps has a wonderful view of the ibtracoastal waterway and tables lining the outside deck with two outside bars serving a full bar and lunch and dinner menu. There is also an inside bar. The food is seafood based and is fresh and delicious. The servers are warm and welcoming. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great out of the way place right on the water. Nice but not overly so - comfortable. Great seafood at a reasonable price and very good service.

Incredible experience. Fantastic food, great service, and beautiful views. The restaurant was aptly staffed and although it looked packed, we were seating almost right away for lunch. It is extremely busy for supper, so be mindful of that. I highly recommend Caps.

Impressive atmosphere right on the water and delicious food! Definitely a place for special occasions or to take good friends from out of town. Not too far from St Augustine Historic Site or Jacksonville Area.

2hr wait arrived at 4:30pm and they started serving dinner at 4pm, Place was packed from the lunch crowd not leaving. Got drinks on the dock.... crowded. Finally seated after three hostesses moved us to different tables because they didn’t communicate correctly. Our server was very slow but overall good. Had the scallop appetizer, only 4 scallops for $19 so over priced. Bread and honey butter was amazing and so were the side salads. My boyfriend got the seafood combo, all fried and said it was “okay.†I had the crab cake dinner, needed salt and tased pretty plain. Ordered 2 skinny margaritas, one came out correct and the other was full of sour mix just as a regular margarita is made. Overall I would not say this place is worth the hype or price. Much better restaurants downtown or on the beach. Don’t let the 2k reviews fool you into thinking this place is the must eat at spot in St. Augustine.

The food was amazing. Seared tuna was the best I've ever had. The margaritas were also amazing. Our waitress was not very attentive however the manager apologized and took off one of the drinks for the hassle. We were both happy with the way he handled the situation.

Food was very good and the view was nice. We saw multiple dolphins as they came near the dock. The atmosphere was nice. They also have heaters near the seats to keep it comfortable. Service was good, but not great. We did have a short wait. Parking was packed, so we used valet. Valet was $13, not including tip.

This is a GREAT place! Good food, drinks, lots of outdoor seating. Nice size outdoor bar. Valet parking. Must go if you're in the area. Wonderful place to watch the sunset.

It's a great place for either drinks on the water or a waterfront meal. It can be a bit of a wait for a waterfront table, but the bars are open and there are plenty of seats and a gazebo by the water to wait in. Perfect sunset view. The food is lovely and they have heaters set up in the winter so sitting outside is very comfortable. Grab a frozen rum runner and some she crab soup and have a good time.

Caps On the Water is a great place. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is amazing. The Honey Rosemary salmon was so good! You have to try the spicy Margarita and the hush puppies. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. They don’t rush you from your table when your done eating. There’s nothing they could have done better. Highly recommended Caps

A hidden gem right outside of St. Augustine. There is always a wait but is well worth it! If you are looking for a perfect, waterfront meal - this is it!! The place is absolutely beautiful. Accommodating for big groups. Large menu with many specialty offerings. Can't say enough great things about our experience here.

Cap’s is a great spot for a quick appetizer and has a wonderful view. The service was great and the food was amazing! They also had a nice dock for you to park your boat if you needed it. Definitely recommend and is on of my favorite places in the North St. Augustine area!

This is the kind of food that you would gladly wait 2 hours to eat. Our order was ready in 20 minutes, exactly as promised. Gumbo, jambalaya, crab cakes, etc.: each solicited the response of "best I have ever tasted" from my very particular group of friends and family. Could not recommend this enough.

We took my 98 year old mother to Caps last night (group of 8). She absolutely loved everything about Caps. Her Vanilla Grouper was perfect; the potatoes were perfect; the spinach was perfect; the pavilion was perfect; the waiter was perfect. She loved watching the children down on the beach. The boat dock area as well. Perfect setting. As always, Caps never fails. My favorite too. Best Oyster Rockefeller anywhere.

Very good food. Extremely good service. Great out door seating. The table we set at had very poor lighting other than that this restaurant was amazing! All the food was fresh. And when they discovered that they forgot part of my meal it was brought to me right away.

Second time going to Cap's and was not disappointed. Friendly staff, clean, and very tasty. The view is amazing. Off the beaten path and a little pricey but worth it. Recommend for date night!

One of our favorite places to eat on special occasions. Took our out of town friends here and they loved it as much as we do. As always I had the Vanilla Grouper which is very filling. Others liked the blackened catch of the day. Jacquilian our server was very attentive and took very good care of us. Gotta go but anticipate a wait, even in Sunday night.

My friends and I drove 1 hr and 43 mins to dine in. The place was packed so we used valet parking. The energy of the place was very calm and peaceful. We arrived when the sun was setting on the water so of course the view was breath taking along with a rainbow in the sky which was my own personal confirmation the place was going to be worth my while. The staff was all very friendly and pleasant. It was cold out but the heaters that are located through out the place kept it warm and comfortable. The food was simply amazing. I recommend the She Crab Soup and Jambalaya. The only thing I didn't like was my corn bread was sitting in the Jambalaya so it was soggy. Planning another trip in a few weeks.

A great menu of seafood specialties. The Oysters Rockefeller are truly amazing. The fried shrimp were very good and the entree with seared scallops and shrimp over pasta was excellent. Friendly surface gorgeous Waterfront views all in all a most pleasant evening
